Today I am going to share some tips on “How to Recruit into your Home Business” from one of the Best in the business! This person has admittedly recruited over 3000 people into his network marketing business in the last 6 years.
Can you imagine? Over 500 people per year?
What would that do for you?
What if it was only 500 people in 6 years?
If you are like most people – to recruit over 500 people in 6 years is still “GREAT”! And would dramatically change your income and lifestyle.
If you are like me – you will pay close attention to these tips he gave and learn to master them.
The first few times you try to do this I am sure will not be perfect, but remember – practice, practice, practice makes near perfect.
And “near perfect” will change your life for the better!
Most people think that if they build their business that it will eventually be on “auto-pilot”, or they may think “that if I build it, they will come”.
This is far from the truth until you are making 6-figures per month or close to it.
So here is what you should do to make a connection and become the authority to that person which is how you should want to look and be portrayed as.
Tip #1 –
You should “call ALL of your Leads” unless you are getting thousands of leads per month. You need to take the time to call them and make the connection, and they will probably be “shocked” that you called.
When do you call? – immediately after you get the notification (if at all possible). “Strike while the iron is hot” as they say. If you cannot call immediately, then call as soon as possible.
Be yourself. Introduce yourself and state why you are calling. Ask first – “is now a good time to talk”. This is a courtesy and shows you are a polite professional.
Then ask where they live and try to get them to open up a little bit. Ask how long they have lived there or what took them to that State or area of the Country.
Do not just jump to the topic of “hey are you ready to join my business”. This will not work too well for you – guaranteed.
Tip #2 –
Use the F.O.R.M acronym to get the conversation rolling:
You can choose which order of this to go in as it really does not matter – except the Money question should always be the last part of this conversation. REMEMBER – you are trying to make a new friend and ultimately decide if you even want to WORK with this person. They may be an egotistical jerk – so “would you want to work with that”?
You are trying to find out their “WHY”. And most of the time, if you are listening (and you better be listening real good) – they will tell you their WHY in a roundabout way.
Family – are they married; have kids; retired, etc. Again – you are trying to diagnose this person thru the phone. And trying to make a “new friend”.
Occupation – what do they do; how long have they done this; do they like it; etc.
Recreation – what do they like to do for fun; if a similar sport to you then jump in and let the chat flow.
Money – ASK THIS QUESTION – “Do you keep your options open when it comes to looking at different ways to make money”? If they had already seen the video you want people to see about your opportunity, then ask “what did you like about it”?
If they have not seen the video yet – then ask them “if I sent it right now, would you be able to watch it right now”? SHOW URGENCY! If yes, then send the video link and tell them you will call them when it is done. If it is an 8min video – then tell them you will call them in 9min. The first thing to then ask them is “what did you like about the video”? You will need to gauge the excitement level – and if it is HIGH, then ask “what starter pack would you like to start at”? If you don’t ask – then you won’t get. They are looking for “the next step” at this point – so tell them what they should do and how it will go. Be brief, as this will show them “that they can do the exact same thing” when they start talking to their newest prospect.
Tip #3 –
- have EXCITEMENT in your voice
- SHOW URGENCY
- if they ask how you are? Tell them “GREAT”, Very Busy as things are going very well and you are talking to a lot of people! This will help show that this is a “HOT” opportunity.
- Never ask if they are already in a Network Marketing business, as they may love the leadership and guidance you have shown and just may join your team anyway. If they state they are “totally happy” in their MLM, then I would point them to either your own Blog or another site that would benefit them for learning HOW TO BE GREAT!
Tip #4 –
If you are not comfortable with getting on the phone – then practice the above tips with a friend a couple of times and then “GET TO WORK”! You can do this!
Just remember – FEAR has 2 definitions:
“Forget everything and run”, OR “Face everything and Rise”!
